Opiette's very successful version of the game.

Damn, this works just fine in alpha16 and 4.6.2. It's screwed up in 4.5 and 4.6.3.

Does moving the elements used in the items to the beginning of the mod make any difference?

Anything you can tell me about items that aren't working would be a big help. 4.6.3 changed a bunch of things, and 4.6.4 is changing more. For some reason the changes I made seem to be screwing up the item system. I spend more time programming than playing, so I'm flying blind here.

Well, it seems that you have to put your item elements at the beginning or middle of your mod, because if you put them after element number 150 or something like that, they don't work. Twice, I've gotten fatal errors when trying to place an item.

Also, a few suggestions:
Maybe neighborkey and selfkey lines only apply to lines directly above them?
This would make it easier to make remote-controlled stuff.

Also, what's this itemizer program I hear so much about? I've googled it, and downloaded it, but when I try to unzip it with WinRAR it says it's in an invalid format or something.

Maybe you could actually incorporate your itemizer program into WxSand, to make it easier to make items ingame. Also, zoom feature?

All in all, though, WxSand is awesome!
Hello, the name's Medic. I joined just a few days ago, but I've been playing WxSand since 4.4, so I'm actually very experienced. If you'd like me to help you, I'd love it if you'd PM me, even for conversations such as the weather! Cheerio!

Neighborkey and selfkey are designed to work exactly like hotself and hotneighbor, where you need to specify which reaction requires the key control. I try to use this style for other reaction inhibitors.

The easy way to make items is to open up your favorite paint program and draw pixels the same color as your target elements. It can be loaded from the File menu OR added with an itemEx line in the mod file.

Zoom feature is in the works, not working very well yet.

Actually, purple, another good way exists. There is an item creator someone around the forum, which works pretty well.
ダーク牙
ドラゴン爪
ている一
もし私の視線ろう
凍結なたではなく、
その後に屈する
注文の方法は、ブレードの龍。

A Japanese Signature... cool. Betcha don't know what it says. Unless you visit Dan-Ball alot.
